Ken Love is the state pastor of The Florida Church of God ministries in Orlando, Florida, as well as the pastor of GraceRiver Church.

In 1977, after graduating from MidAmerica Bible College, Ken enrolled in Asbury Theological Seminary where he completed his Masters degree in theology in 1980.

Ken has been in ministry for over 27 years and brings a diversity of experience to state and local leadership. He has led small and large churches and even took the plunge twice and planted two churches – in Chicago, Illinois and currently in Orlando, Florida. He’s also coached leaders in partnership with Healthy Growing Churches. In light of these experiences, Ken certainly understands the challenges and joys church leaders face. This makes him a great coach for pastors and inspires him to find ways of developing their leadership potential.

Ken’s wife, Sheila, has been a partner with Ken as they’ve endeavored to help people experience the reality of God’s heart for them. They have a daughter, MacKenzie, son-in-law, Shane, and miniature schnauzer, Gracie.

Ken believes every person is divinely created for significant impact and influence.  There is no “one type” of leadership.  Introverts and extroverts, people who live in the clouds and those who never miss a detail, all have influence. Ken’s heart is to catalyze the leader God created you to be! We hope you find our resources helpful.

Ken, it is an honor to be connected with you and to be following one another’s blogs. I recently completed what I called a “Pilgrimage for Prayer” of the Oregon Coast and along the journey I had the distinct pleasure of spending an evening with three gentlemen, one of whom was the state leader for CoG in Oregon. Incredible discussion that night.

    Blessings and be well,
