Holy leaders are a gift to the people. They are evidence of God’s love for us! Isn’t that striking? When we ponder how much the Lord loves us, one expression is the leaders He places over us! The sacrifice of a leader is an expression of our value! The willingness of a leader to lay down their life (which could look like refusing a “promotion” to remain here with us) elevates our lives! The very fact of our leaders being assigned to us is a holy gift from the Lord. Just their presence can empower us to live elevated, faithful, powerful lives.
When we see our leaders as a gift to us, as given responsibility over us from the Lord, we can celebrate them, rejoice in them and hold them in prayer and honor. Is your leader a gift to you?
