Inner Work: Time

The inner work is often elusive. Our tendency is to live “externally,” thinking that our challenges and obstacles are “out there” among others, hence our lack of resources, our setting, etc. Human nature is to look outside of our hearts, as opposed to in our hearts and souls for the key breakthroughs.  The inner work, for some leaders, remains elusive their whole life!  The only power keeping you from your destiny is you.

Once we come to that conclusion, we can begin the inner work.  But you must know that the inner work will often take time to manifest.  Time, like years or even decades!  If a leader does the inner work, the seeds of their destiny now have fertile ground.  And eventually fruit will be produced.

Time alone will not shape a leader.  The accumulation of years has a tendency to distort our hearts and souls with cynicism rather than holy anointing.  But time, when combined with a leader who is doing the inner work, will create a holy fire that will fuel a destiny wired by the Lord.

You have time.  The question is are you willing to do the inner work?
